A few have a 180° variable shutter that can be adjusted to 172.8° , 144° , or 135° . This camera utilizes a digital tachometer and is capable of speeds of 50 fps. The BL III has a two-pull down claw movement and double registration pins. The BL III film magazines have a 1mm change in the position of the film entering the film movement chamber. BL III magazines will work on the BL I & II, but BL I & II magazines may not work on the BL III. Weight with a 400' magazine, no lens, no film 13 kg... 28.5 lbs.
